Christ Reformed Church is a church plant located in the southern Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. The church started in January of 2017 with a desire to be Christ-centered, Biblical, theologically-grounded, and missions-minded. The impetus was the need of a few families looking for such a church.
We are Reformed Baptists (historically known as, “Particular Baptists”) and hold to the Second London Baptist Confession of the year 1689. Additional documents helpful in the expression of the true, Biblical faith include the Belgic Confession (1561), the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and the Canons of Dordt/Dordrecht (1619). These documents and the writings of John Calvin (1509-1564) and the Puritans have a secondary role to Scripture. We encourage the reading of the Holy Bible first and foremost (Ecclesiastes 12:11-14).
